About New Creation Counseling
I am passionate about helping individuals learn to truly live a fulfilled life. I continue to seek knowledge and grow. I first started teaching, then was a school counselor, and continued to earn my Master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University. I became licensed in the state of Texas and now NC. I have worked in an Intensive Outpatient Program in a hospital setting and became the director. I also conducted marketing, intakes, and counseling duties at an Inpatient facility. I’ve done private practice for many years, and have been in full time private practice for over 10 years now. I contract with the Child Welfare Board, have contracted with Juvenile Probation, and also conduct Adoption and Custody evaluations. I work with individuals, families, children, and couples in a wide range of areas. Being ART certified, resolutions to issues are resolved quicker. This includes, but is not limited to, depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, phobias, ADHD, abuse, and etc. I also love to educate and inspire. I am available for speaking engagements. I’m from a rural area, and love to provide these services for Montague and surrounding counties, and willing to travel. I would like to say I’m personable and down to earth. Christian principles may be incorporated if desired, but in no way pressured. I like to refer to myself as spiritual and not religious. It is not my intention to wrangle anyone into my beliefs, but to encourage a healthy lifestyle spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally while incorporating meaningful coping skills. We will discuss a plan that will meet your needs.
